Meet Our Pastor!!!

Pastor Jason has a B.A. in Children and Family Ministry (Nelson University), a Master of Arts in Theological Studies (Liberty University), and a Master of Divinity in Christian Apologetics (Liberty University). He has been involved in ministry for over 20 years, spending time as a Children’s Pastor and Lead Pastor. He was ordained by the Assemblies of God in 2014. In his spare time, he enjoys reading books about apologetics, drinking coffee, being a blogger, and a cohost for the Geek Theocast Podcast. He loves to spend time with his family and playing various board games. He is a massive fan of Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, DC Comics, and much more.

Pastor Melinda is a wife, mother, and co-pastor. You can find her either on stage singing or playing on the worship team, or preaching in the pulpit. She serves as a South Texas Women’s Ministry Core Team Member and writes for the team blog (https://stxwomenblog.com). She was called to the ministry at the age of 14. In 2011, she graduated from the former SAGU, where she met her husband, Jason. She enjoys pastoring alongside him and raising their daughter together. She is also an ordained minister through The Assemblies of God. She wishes she had grown up in the ’80s because she loves the clothes, movies, and music. Her favorite pastimes are drinking coffee, eating pizza, playing games with her family, creating graphics, and doing her nails.
