Meet Our Pastor!!!

Pastor Jason has a bachelor’s degree in Children and Family Ministry from Nelson University (formerly SAGU). He is currently working on his Master of Divinity with an emphasis on Apologetics. He has been involved in ministry for twenty years, spending time as a Children’s Pastor and Lead Pastor. He was ordained by the Assemblies of God in 2014. In his spare time, he enjoys reading books about Apologetics, playing the bass, and being a blogger and cohost of the Geek Theocast Podcast. He loves spending time with his family and playing board games. He also has an obsession with Dr Pepper and white chocolate. He is a massive fan of Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, DC Comics, and more.

Pastor Melinda is a wife, mother, and co-pastor. You can find her either on stage singing or playing on the worship team, or preaching in the pulpit. She serves as a South Texas Women’s Ministry Core Team Member and writes for the team blog (https://stxwomenblog.com). She was called to the ministry at the age of 14. In 2011, she graduated from the former SAGU, where she met her husband, Jason. She enjoys pastoring alongside him and raising their daughter together. She is also an ordained minister through The Assemblies of God. She wishes she had grown up in the ’80s because she loves the clothes, movies, and music. Her favorite pastimes are drinking coffee, eating pizza, playing games with her family, creating graphics, and doing her nails.
